We breed and train some of Spain’s most beautiful horses here at the hotel and finca. Guests can take great pleasure in watching this in the superb arena we have positioned in the lush grounds of the hotel.

Riding lessons are also given in English, German and Spanish these are with an expert instructor and can be tailored for the beginner through to the most experienced rider.

You will find our hotel in the province of Cadiz, close to the village of Arcos de la Frontera and the nature reserve of “Los Alcornocales”. We are also at the entrance of the Sierra de Cadiz and on the route of the Pueblos Blancos. The stunning beaches of the Costa de la Luz are nearby too with their fine sands and clear waters.

The nearest airport is in the city of Jerez de la Frontera and only 20 minutes away, also, there is Sevilla, which is about an hour away.

From Arcos to Jerez you need just 20min., to Cadiz 60min., to Seville 75min. and to Malaga 2 hours.

The closest airport is in Jerez de la Frontera, many airlines (also last minute) arrive there. Other airports are in Seville or Malaga. All airports offer car hire. In the majority of cases it`s cheaper to reservate in your travel agency.

The establishment Hotel El Tesorillo is within the municipality of Arcos de la Frontera, located in the north of Cadiz, as part of the famous White Villages, that offer a unique view of this picturesque area. So, the north of Cadiz, offers endless possibilities for tourists, cultural and natural attractions and sports activities.

The Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park
Declared Biosphere Reserve also offers a wide variety of animal species and vegetation, elms, willows and poplars are the species that form the typical gallery forest along the course of rivers and streams, and can be seen by example in the upper reaches of River el Bosque.

All these species, for a total of 90, are represented in the Botanical Garden el Bosque, which provides alternative routes. Numerous species of birds inhabit the park, but perhaps because of their size, and majestic flight, the raptors are the more eye catching.

The Alcornocales Natural Park

The natural attraction of this park does not end here, as it hosts a gallery forests exceptional, capable of transporting us to subtropical regions currently lacking in the European continent, to be composed of species typical of these environments have found this a suitable shelter to develop.
